Our Deanside childcare is staffed by a team of experienced and fully qualified educators who are committed to providing the best possible care for every child. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, our teachers closely collaborate with families and offer every child the opportunity to succeed.
At Aspire Deanside, we’re committed to connecting children and families with the wider community through meaningful experiences and partnerships.
Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten Deanside supports the growing Deanside community by providing high-quality education and childcare with a strong focus on community values. Our play-based program, complemented by literacy and numeracy workshops, fosters a lifelong love of learning and a sense of belonging for every child.
Aspire Deanside is in the Deanside Central Estate, close to CS Square Shopping Centre and less than 5 minutes from Deanside Primary School. Conveniently located on Sinclairs Road, it’s an easy stop on the way into the city.
The childcare centre hosts a variety of incursions to supplement the educational experiences of the children.
Several one-off or once-yearly incursions are a highlight for the long daycare children and are based on the children’s interests, as well as the Aspire curriculum. Some recent one-off incursions include:
Aspire childcare centres frequently run engaging and exciting excursions throughout the year. This differs from centre to centre, but may include excursions such as Bush Kinder, farm visits, walking to a local park or to local primary schools. These excursions further bolster the learning of students in every age group, as they align with Aspire’s curriculum and the interests of the children.
At Aspire Deanside, our in-centre chef prepares fresh and nutritious meals every day, guided by the Australian Dietary Guidelines. Our approach to food focuses on variety, balance, and mindful eating to support children’s healthy growth and development.
We focus on variety, balance and whole foods with each meal containing vegetables, fruit, whole grains, lean proteins and dairy. Our chefs also make mealtimes special, whether it’s baking a birthday cake or preparing a festive spread to celebrate an occasion. Food is a meaningful and joyful part of our community.
Our purpose-built facility sets the benchmark for early learning centres and caters to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. The childcare centre offers a fully equipped commercial kitchen, a piazza, and ample outdoor space, offering plenty of room for your child to play, learn and explore. The centre has eight learning rooms specifically designed for each age group and stage of development.
The piazza offers a space for multi-age group activities such as centre events, incursions, shared mealtimes or blended learning opportunities. Utilising this gorgeous space allows children of different ages to interact with each other, and form bonds between age groups.
Our service is a state-of-the-art facility with beautiful indoor and outdoor environments for children to learn and grow in. We have a beautiful, architecturally designed outdoor space that connects seamlessly with our indoor rooms.
The outdoor play space features an enchanting fairy cave, sustainability gardens and a tractor with a timber maze to play and explore. These play areas help children connect with nature and provide countless ways to play.
As an Educator, I am guided by a blend of progressive and holistic learning philosophies. I believe in the importance of child–centred approaches, where learning emerges from children’s interests, experiences, and interactions with their environment.
My favourite thing about being a centre director is the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children, families and staff every day. I love being able to create a supportive and enriching environment where children can learn, grow and thrive. Building strong relationships with families and seeing joy on children’s faces as they explore and discover new things brings me immense fulfilment. Additionally, I enjoy the leadership aspect of my role, empowering and supporting my team to be their best selves and to contribute to the success of our centre.
My journey in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector began as an Educator in 2013, fostering a nurturing environment for children’s growth and learning. Over time, I honed my leadership skills, gradually taking on more responsibilities. As a centre manager now, I oversee operations, support staff development, and ensure the highest quality of care and education for all children. It’s been a fulfilling progression, allowing me to make a positive impact at every step.
It is my privilege to be the Centre Manager at Deanside, and I can’t wait to meet each family that joins the Aspire community.
I’ve been working in early childhood education since 2021, with a professional journey that has taken me through various roles including early childhood teacher, and Head of Curriculum. Each step has deepened my conviction in the transformative power of early education.
What I love most about working at Aspire is our shared commitment to going above and beyond for children, for families, and for our people. The value that resonates most with me is Empowering Excellence, because I believe that when educators feel valued and supported, they deliver their best for the children in their care.
I aim to lead with integrity, transparency, and encouragement, always fostering a culture where collaboration, continuous learning, and trust thrive. I understand the importance of inclusive practices that reflect the diverse backgrounds of the families we work with. My leadership is driven by relationships, reflection, and a vision for ensuring that every child and educator feels a true sense of belonging.
I hold a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. These qualifications, along with hands-on leadership experience, have shaped my approach to curriculum and pedagogy: one that is inclusive, interest-driven, and deeply reflective. I’m passionate about mentoring educators, supporting meaningful documentation, and ensuring every program is purposeful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate.
At Aspire, I’m proud to contribute to our mission to Connect, Learn, and Grow, building strong foundations for children today and brighter futures for tomorrow.

My son only attended aspire deanside for 6 months as we had to move to a new area but I wanted to share my experience with the centre. As my childs first time at childcare, I was nervous to let him go, but all the educators were really lovely and made a welcoming experience for us. My son settled in so quickly, which showed me that they were caring for him well. I especially appreciate how much love they showed my son and I felt they truly adored him. That fact made it so much easier for me as parent to feel comfortable with him attending childcare. I am really appreciative of the care and love my son received!! Thankyou all 🥰

My son started at this childcare centre four months ago. At the beginning, I was not confident and felt worried about how he would settle into the new environment. However, the educators supported him with great care, patience and professionalism. They helped him feel safe, comfortable and happy. I am very grateful to all the educators for their kindness, dedication and regular communication. I now feel confident leaving my son in their care. I highly recommend this childcare centre to other families!

We couldn't be happier with the care our little one receives. Andrea, Nicky, and Blessing have all been absolutely amazing. There are other wonderful educators in Room 1 as well—I'm just not great at remembering everyone's names! Every single carer in Room 1 deserves a 5-star rating. The team takes such great care of the children. They provide healthy, yummy meals, make sure medication is given on time, and always keep us informed if anything is wrong or if there are any concerns. One of my favourite things is the daily photos shared on the Storypark app. Seeing those happy moments from throughout the day brings a smile to our faces and gives us peace of mind. Please keep sharing those wonderful pictures—we absolutely love them! Thank you to the entire Room 1 team for your care, dedication, and the love you show our little one every day. We truly appreciate everything you do.

We know handing your child over to someone else is one of the hardest things a parent does. Here’s exactly how we keep them safe.
Only authorised people can drop off or collect your child. Our centres use controlled access points and require photo ID verification for anyone not on your authorised pickup list.
Every educator holds a current Working With Children Check. Our teams include diploma and degree-qualified staff, with qualified teacher ratios that exceed national requirements.
Through the StoryPark app, you receive photos, observations and daily updates directly from your child's room. You can message educators and see what your child has been up to, any time.
Aspire operates under the National Child Safe Standards across every centre. Our policies, spaces and staffing are designed with visibility and supervision at the centre of everything.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten operates in a long daycare setting and has four main education programs, tailored to each stage of early development.

Aspire Deanside opened its doors to the community to celebrate their Open Day!
The event was filled with fun and activities for the whole family and was Aspire’s biggest community event to date! It was amazing for the Aspire Deanside team to meet and connect with so many families in the local area.

There were plenty of animals to pat and interact with at Farmer Daryl's Animal Farm. Children enjoyed getting their hair braided and faces painted. Sporting activities presented by Little Sports Heroes gave children the opportunity to enjoy fun in the sun. Families captured the moment at the photo booth. Who could forget the live performance by the Blippi and Emma Wiggle characters? After a morning of fun and games, the coffee van and menu sampling provided a light refreshment.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Deanside is now open! The centre for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old offering programs for Nursery, Toddlers and Three-and-Four-Year-Old Kindergarten.
Throughout the month of June, the Aspire community enthusiastically participated in a Heart-a-thon to craft pocket hearts for Life's Little Treasures Foundation (LLTF).
LLTF is one of Australia’s leading charities dedicated to providing practical support, information and assistance to families of babies born prematurely or sick. LLTF’s vision is to ensure that all families enduring the difficult and life-changing experience of having a premature/sick baby have easy access to critical information and community support.
LLTF know how difficult it is for families with a baby in the neonatal unit, that's why they developed the Little Bag of Calm. The bag includes tips, tools and activities all aimed at encouraging parents to take a moment for self care. Within the bag is a pocket heart. Pocket hearts, hand-sewn with love and care, serve as heartfelt keepsakes for families to hold close and treasure. These pocket hearts offer a reminder that families are not alone in their journey and that LLTF is there to provide support.
We are delighted to announce that the Aspire community has successfully crafted an impressive total of 12,531 pocket hearts to be donated to LLTF.
The dedicated staff and families of Aspire Thornhill Park contributed 2,658 of these meaningful creations. These heartfelt gestures will undoubtedly make a significant difference in the lives of numerous families.

On Thursday 14th of September was R U OK?Day, which is a national day of action to remind Australians that every day is the day to ask, ‘are you OK?’ and to start a meaningful conversation whenever they spot the signs that someone they care about might be struggling with life.
It is an important day to reflect on mental health and our general wellbeing, as it is often such a silent issue. This year’s theme “I’m here to hear”, emphasises that you don’t need to be an expert to reach out – just a good friend and a great listener.
Many of our Aspire Childcare centres, as well as our Head office, recognised this day by having a morning tea and dressing up in yellow, and our Aspire families were also invited. It was a great day for all of us to come together and spread the message. We also provided a range of resources and spoke about the importance of supporting one another and reaching out to those who may be struggling with their mental health.
At Aspire, we strongly support our employees’ health and wellbeing, and provide our employees access to an Employment Assistance Program (EAP). This is a tool that is available to our employees 24/7 and a beneficial resource for them to use.
If you do see someone in your life struggling, have a conversation using these four steps:
1. Ask R U OK?
2. Listen
3. Encourage action
4. Check in

On Thursday 6 of September our Aspire centres celebrated Early Childhood Educator's Day. This day recognises and celebrates the work of Australia’s educators in early learning services for the important role they play in supporting children’s wellbeing, learning and development in the early years.
To celebrate our wonderful Aspire educators, our centres enjoyed a range of delicious food and treats and were given special gift packs to take home.
Leading up to the day, we also invited our Aspire families to leave a message of gratitude for their child's educators. We were blown away with the many thoughtful messages about our educators from families showing their appreciation. Our educators were so grateful to read these messages recognising their hard work. See one of the messages we received from a Wollert family below.
“I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible care and support you provide to my child at Aspire. Your dedication and commitment to nurturing not only their physical needs but also their emotional and educational growth have made a profound impact on my kid. Your patience, kindness, and ability to create a warm and inclusive environment have helped my child feel safe and happy while away from home. Your regular updates and willingness to address any concerns or questions have provided us with peace of mind and trust in the care you provide.”

From 18-22 September, our Aspire centres participated in a Book Donation Drive, supporting Life’s Little Treasures Foundation (LLTF). While parents are in hospital with their sick or premature baby, other children in the family also spend a lot of time there.
Our aim of the book drive was to donate picture books for these children to enjoy while they are spending extensive amounts of time in hospital.
Many of our Kindergarten families were kind enough to participate and donated a copy of their child’s favourite book to share with these children whose family is in hospital. We collected these books at a collection point at each of our centres, where they will then be distributed to families through the Life’s Little Treasures Foundation hospital program.
Cards were also written with special messages and calico bags were decorated by the kinder children to be delivered with the books. See images below.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Book Drive. We collected over 100 books across our Aspire centres. This is an amazing effort from our Aspire families, and we appreciate your ongoing support for the LLTF community.
With a large focus on community at Aspire, we are proud to have formed such a meaningful partnership with Life’s Little Treasures and are so thankful for all the families who participated.
We look forward to our next event with LLTF, the annual Walk for Prems Events in Bendigo and Melbourne. To find out more about Walk for Prems visit the website here, and register with our Aspire team.

On Sunday 22nd October, the Aspire team participated in the Walk for Prems Melbourne event.
Walk for Prems 2023 is the largest annual fundraiser by Life’s Little Treasures Foundation, Australia’s foremost charity dedicated to supporting the families of babies born sick or premature. It's families helping families. This year Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten was a major sponsor of Walk for Prems.
Life’s Little Treasures Foundation (LLTF) is one of Australia’s leading charities dedicated to providing practical support, information and assistance to families of babies born prematurely or sick. Founded in 2005 by parents who had experienced this first-hand, LLTF truly understands the challenges that these families face.
LLTF’s vision is to ensure that all families enduring the difficult and life changing experience of having a premature/sick baby have easy access to critical information and community support. LLTF services are available in the hospital (neonatal and special care units) and in the community when families come home.
In its 14th year, Walk for Prems took place at nine locations across Australia during the month of October.
Walk for Prems Melbourne took place at Albert Park Lake with participants enjoying a 5km walk. There were plenty of activities for families including face painting, a photo booth, and jumping castles. Children also enjoyed sports activities and sensory play experiences provided by Aspire.
The community is at the heart of all we do and we are so proud to be a part of such a special event supporting LLTF.
