Our Kalkallo childcare centre is staffed by a team of experienced and fully qualified educators who are committed to providing the best possible care for every child. We work in close collaboration with families and ensure that any personal needs and requests are accommodated. Our teachers possess comprehensive knowledge of both the Early Years Learning Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, which offers every child the opportunity to succeed.
At Aspire Kalkallo, we’re committed to connecting children and families with the wider community through meaningful experiences and partnerships.
Whether it’s learning about safety, understanding how our community works, or simply enjoying a visit from a familiar face. These partnerships help bring learning to life and ensure every child feels part of their local community throughout their early learning journey.
Located next to the new Kallo Town Centre, Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten is conveniently located for families looking for childcare. Our childcare centre is next to the local primary school, reserve and is a six-minute drive to the nearest train station.
We offer exciting incursion programs at Aspire that provide new experiences for the children and help them develop new interests and skills. These cover sport, music, art and drama, and are a highlight for the children at Aspire.
The centre also offers one-off incursion programs throughout the term. Some recent standouts include:
Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten centres frequently run engaging and exciting excursions throughout the year. This differs from centre to centre, but may include excursions such as Bush Kinder, farm visits, walking to a local park or to local primary schools. These excursions further bolster the learning of students in every age group, as they align with Aspire’s curriculum and the interests of the children.
Aspire childcare centres provide nutritious daily meals to each child. Meals adhere to the Nutrition Australia Dietary Guidelines, ensuring that each child, regardless of dietary requirements, receives delicious meals each day. Aspire’s amazing chefs also love to create special moments for our children and staff, making birthday cakes or delicious spreads of food to celebrate special occasions.
Our purpose-built facility sets the benchmark for early learning centres and caters to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Aspire Kalkallo is one of our largest centres with nine learning spaces, fit for each different age group. These rooms foster a tailored curriculum throughout all stages of learning and are designed to help your child grow and thrive.
Within our nine well-equipped indoor rooms, children participate in a range of daily activities including arts and craft, music, sports, reading and more. We have a beautiful, architecturally designed outdoor space that connects seamlessly with our indoor rooms. This makes it easy for children to move between the indoor and outdoor spaces, supporting a holistic learning experience for the children.
The spacious outdoor yard features a playground with different areas for each age group. The standout of the outdoor yard is Kalkallo’s cute Kombi van – the first of our Aspire centres! Children are free to explore the Kombi van as well as the other outdoor environments, including sand pits, veggie gardens, rock climbing features, and more. Additionally, our programs actively promote the message of environmental consciousness and sustainability.
My name is Meenakshi Seth, and I am excited to be joining Team Kalkallo as Centre Manager. With over 15 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I have had the privilege of supporting children, families, and educators across a variety of learning environments. Throughout my career, I have focused on building strong relationships, mentoring educators, and creating high-quality educational settings that promote wellbeing, inclusion, and positive outcomes for every child.
I am passionate about fostering positive centre cultures built on collaboration, respect, and excellence in early learning. My philosophy is grounded in the belief that every child is capable, competent, and unique. I believe children learn best through play-based learning, meaningful relationships, exploration, and opportunities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence.
I strongly value collaborative partnerships with families and believe open communication, trust, and mutual respect are essential in supporting each child’s individual learning journey. My goal is to create a warm and welcoming environment where children and families feel connected, supported, and empowered to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.

Went for a tour with my cousin at the centre. I don’t have kids myself but this centre would definitely be where I’d put my kids. I’m saying this based on the centre manager Reeta who took us for a tour. She was so welcoming, informative and answered all the questions so clearly. Been to 3 tours this year at different centres and this manager tops it with her inviting and warm attitude!

I had the pleasure of running the Peaceful Programs incursions at Aspire Kalkallo, and it was clear how dedicated the management and team are to helping children thrive. The centre genuinely prioritises children’s mental health and healthy brain development, creating a calm and supportive environment for learning. The children were highly engaged in our special wellbeing program, and it was wonderful to see the centre actively supporting initiatives like R U OK? Day, encouraging emotional awareness and open conversations from a young age. Aspire Kalkallo is a centre that truly values children’s wellbeing.

Aspire Kalkallo has been nothing short of amazing. My daughter is finishing up as she is going to school and it feels like we are leaving our family. The familiar staff are so kind and caring and nothing is a problem for them. They have built a safe environment where my kids can flourish. Ebru and the management team are the best. Always so welcoming, passionate about their centre and always up for a chat no matter what! Thank you everyone, keep doing what you’re good at! You have no idea the impact you are making on these kids!

My daughter had started when she was 11 months old and yes initially it was tough to settle her as she wasn’t habitual of staying away from mom. Hats off to aspire the way they settled her and calmed her down to blend in the environment. She is so happy at aspire and trust her educators .. I give full credit to aspire for building her personality .

My daughter never really took to day care until Kallkallo Asprire. We as parents were hesitant and even a bit clingy when she first started but now she is absolutely loving it and we love it for her. She gets to experience so many things with peers her age and she is actually learning not just being put out to play all day. They provide interactive learning for the kids that they enjoy. She loves the place so much she asked me on pick up if I could do the groceries and come back to get her later 🤣. The menu is well put together from chow meins, pastas and even healthy cheese burgers and snacks are nutritional too. The educators here are all wonderful and warm welcoming. It's nice to chat and get updates face to face instead of always through the app on how she is going and the ladies are always attentive. I cant thank them enough. Knowing I am leaving my child somewhere like this keeps mine and my husbands helicopter Vibes at bay. Thank you to the team at Aspire Kallkallo

We know handing your child over to someone else is one of the hardest things a parent does. Here’s exactly how we keep them safe.
Only authorised people can drop off or collect your child. Our centres use controlled access points and require photo ID verification for anyone not on your authorised pickup list.
Every educator holds a current Working With Children Check. Our teams include diploma and degree-qualified staff, with qualified teacher ratios that exceed national requirements.
Through the StoryPark app, you receive photos, observations and daily updates directly from your child's room. You can message educators and see what your child has been up to, any time.
Aspire operates under the National Child Safe Standards across every centre. Our policies, spaces and staffing are designed with visibility and supervision at the centre of everything.
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten operates in a long daycare setting and has four main education programs, tailored to each stage of early development.

Throughout the month of June, the Aspire community enthusiastically participated in a Heart-a-thon to craft pocket hearts for Life's Little Treasures Foundation (LLTF).
LLTF is one of Australia’s leading charities dedicated to providing practical support, information and assistance to families of babies born prematurely or sick. LLTF’s vision is to ensure that all families enduring the difficult and life-changing experience of having a premature/sick baby have easy access to critical information and community support.
LLTF know how difficult it is for families with a baby in the neonatal unit, that's why they developed the Little Bag of Calm. The bag includes tips, tools and activities all aimed at encouraging parents to take a moment for self care. Within the bag is a pocket heart. Pocket hearts, hand-sewn with love and care, serve as heartfelt keepsakes for families to hold close and treasure. These pocket hearts offer a reminder that families are not alone in their journey and that LLTF is there to provide support.
We are delighted to announce that the Aspire community has successfully crafted an impressive total of 12,531 pocket hearts to be donated to LLTF.
The dedicated staff and families of Aspire Thornhill Park contributed 2,658 of these meaningful creations. These heartfelt gestures will undoubtedly make a significant difference in the lives of numerous families.
We are excited to open our Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Kalkallo centre to families and the community. With 9 spacious rooms catering for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old, we are excited to offer our service to families in the community.
Our Kalkallo centre is conveniently located next to Gilgai Plains Primary School, the Kalkallo community centre and is a 6 min drive to the nearest train station. This makes it an accessible location for families and is also in close proximity to our new Donnybrook centre.
Construction on our Kalkallo centre is progressing well and we are so excited to join the community soon. We will continue to provide further construction updates as it progresses further.
We are excited to announce that we have now opened enrolments. If you want to enrol now and secure a spot at our Kalkallo centre, please contact us on 1800 978 429 or enquire through our website here and we will reach out to you.
We look forward to welcoming you to our new centre in Kalkallo soon.

On Thursday 14th of September was R U OK?Day, which is a national day of action to remind Australians that every day is the day to ask, ‘are you OK?’ and to start a meaningful conversation whenever they spot the signs that someone they care about might be struggling with life.
It is an important day to reflect on mental health and our general wellbeing, as it is often such a silent issue. This year’s theme “I’m here to hear”, emphasises that you don’t need to be an expert to reach out – just a good friend and a great listener.
Many of our Aspire Childcare centres, as well as our Head office, recognised this day by having a morning tea and dressing up in yellow, and our Aspire families were also invited. It was a great day for all of us to come together and spread the message. We also provided a range of resources and spoke about the importance of supporting one another and reaching out to those who may be struggling with their mental health.
At Aspire, we strongly support our employees’ health and wellbeing, and provide our employees access to an Employment Assistance Program (EAP). This is a tool that is available to our employees 24/7 and a beneficial resource for them to use.
If you do see someone in your life struggling, have a conversation using these four steps:
1. Ask R U OK?
2. Listen
3. Encourage action
4. Check in
To learn more about the signs and when it's time to ask R U OK? visit their website here: https://www.ruok.org.au/signs
On Thursday 6 of September our Aspire centres celebrated Early Childhood Educator's Day. This day recognises and celebrates the work of Australia’s educators in early learning services for the important role they play in supporting children’s wellbeing, learning and development in the early years.
To celebrate our wonderful Aspire educators, our centres enjoyed a range of delicious food and treats and were given special gift packs to take home.
Leading up to the day, we also invited our Aspire families to leave a message of gratitude for their child's educators. We were blown away with the many thoughtful messages about our educators from families showing their appreciation. Our educators were so grateful to read these messages recognising their hard work. See one of the messages we received from a Wollert family below.
“I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible care and support you provide to my child at Aspire. Your dedication and commitment to nurturing not only their physical needs but also their emotional and educational growth have made a profound impact on my kid. Your patience, kindness, and ability to create a warm and inclusive environment have helped my child feel safe and happy while away from home. Your regular updates and willingness to address any concerns or questions have provided us with peace of mind and trust in the care you provide.”

From 18-22 September, our Aspire centres participated in a Book Donation Drive, supporting Life’s Little Treasures Foundation (LLTF). While parents are in hospital with their sick or premature baby, other children in the family also spend a lot of time there.
Our aim of the book drive was to donate picture books for these children to enjoy while they are spending extensive amounts of time in hospital.
Many of our Kindergarten families were kind enough to participate and donated a copy of their child’s favourite book to share with these children whose family is in hospital. We collected these books at a collection point at each of our centres, where they will then be distributed to families through the Life’s Little Treasures Foundation hospital program.
Cards were also written with special messages and calico bags were decorated by the kinder children to be delivered with the books. See images below.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Book Drive. We collected over 100 books across our Aspire centres. This is an amazing effort from our Aspire families, and we appreciate your ongoing support for the LLTF community.
With a large focus on community at Aspire, we are proud to have formed such a meaningful partnership with Life’s Little Treasures and are so thankful for all the families who participated.
We look forward to our next event with LLTF, the annual Walk for Prems Events in Bendigo and Melbourne. To find out more about Walk for Prems visit the website here, and register with our Aspire team.
We are thrilled to welcome the community to join us for an evening of family fun at the Aspire Wollert Community Halloween Spooktacular, supported by Lendlease! Prepare to dress up in your favourite costume and celebrate Halloween with your friends, family and the local community.

On Sunday 22nd October, the Aspire team participated in the Walk for Prems Melbourne event.
Walk for Prems 2023 is the largest annual fundraiser by Life’s Little Treasures Foundation, Australia’s foremost charity dedicated to supporting the families of babies born sick or premature. It's families helping families. This year Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten was a major sponsor of Walk for Prems.
Life’s Little Treasures Foundation (LLTF) is one of Australia’s leading charities dedicated to providing practical support, information and assistance to families of babies born prematurely or sick. Founded in 2005 by parents who had experienced this first-hand, LLTF truly understands the challenges that these families face.
LLTF’s vision is to ensure that all families enduring the difficult and life changing experience of having a premature/sick baby have easy access to critical information and community support. LLTF services are available in the hospital (neonatal and special care units) and in the community when families come home.
In its 14th year, Walk for Prems took place at nine locations across Australia during the month of October.
Walk for Prems Melbourne took place at Albert Park Lake with participants enjoying a 5km walk. There were plenty of activities for families including face painting, a photo booth, and jumping castles. Children also enjoyed sports activities and sensory play experiences provided by Aspire.
The community is at the heart of all we do and we are so proud to be a part of such a special event supporting LLTF.

Children’s brains will develop faster in their first five years of life than at any other stage in their life. Therefore, it is important to provide your child with a nurturing and stimulating environment with a variety of ways for them to grow and learn.
During the toddler stage, children will learn mainly through relationships and through play. Play is crucial to your baby’s cognitive development as they develop the ability to think, understand and communicate. Your child explores through play by experimenting, creating, and thinking. Playing with your toddler builds the relationship with your child, by supporting them and providing them with a safe space to explore and learn.
From 2026, eligible families can access at least 72 hours of subsidised care per fortnight through the 3-Day Guarantee, as well as the $2,101 Free Kinder fee offset for the first 15 hours of kindergarten per week.
We ask families to bring a water bottle, hat, spare change of clothes, comfort item (toy or blanket) if required, and formula. Please pack your child’s belongings in a bag and ensure all items, including the bag, are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
We provide nutritious meals, nappies and wipes for your child throughout the day.
Aspire keeps families connected through regular updates, learning journals and our parent communication app, Storypark. Educators share insights into your child’s learning, development, wellbeing and daily experiences, so you can stay up to date with their progress.
Vacancies can vary throughout the year. Contact our team for the latest availability and waitlist information, and we’ll help you understand your options for enrolling your child at Aspire.
